Mr. Brittingham has 20 years experience in the Hamilton County school system. He began his career as the band director of East Ridge High School, and after six years as a Pioneer, spent the next two years as the band director at Soddy Daisy Middle School. With the opening of Hunter Middle School in the fall of 1995, Robert became a Hunter Hawk and served as band director for seven years until becoming the assistant principal at Hunter in 2001. He joined the administrative team with Mrs. Dantzler at Ooltewah Middle School in 2005. For the past six months, Mr. Brittingham has served in the role of Instructional Technology Coordinator for the Hamilton County School System. On July 1st, Mr. Brittingham became the assistant principal to East Hamilton Middle High School.
Mr. Brittingham is married and has two children. His wife Judy is the music teacher at Alpine Crest Elementary School. Their son Taylor is a freshman at UTC and their daughter Anna will be starting her senior year at Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in the fall. |
