Cheerleading tryouts are held every spring, usually in March or April.
Tryouts last four to five days in order to teach the girls the routines
and have them ready to perform on the final day. Cheerleading tryouts
will include a selective cheer, chant, sideline dance, jumps, teacher
evaluations, and many tumbling skills you can show safely.

Eligibility requirements for tryouts are as follows:

*Students must have no failing grades on third quarter report card.
*Students may not have received more than one "N" in conduct, and
absolutely NO "U".
*Students are to be in good standing in the office in regard to overall
behavior/conduct. Anyone who has been suspended during the
present school year, will not be eligible.
*Students must be covered by medical insurance.
*If a student has ever been on the EHMS cheerleading squad and has
quit or been dismissed he/she is not eligible.
*Students must be zoned for EHMS.

East Hamilton Rapid Rewards

Rapid Rewards is an incentive-based program that has been established and now fully implemented for all middle school students currently attending East Hamilton School. The purpose of the program is to identify students “who are doing the right thing” and reward them for that behavior. Rapid Rewards levels are determined by a student’s grades and conduct. Below you will see a list of each level and what it stands as determined by report cards, progress reports and weekly updates.
